AICE Media Studies-The problems

 Unfortunately I have come back with some horrible news sadly Kellen has left the group. however not just the group but the state. Kellen is moving all the way to North Carolina. Also i get surgery Tuesday 10/18/22. The stories that I have heard doesn't make me sound the least bit of comfort. So I've been on edge so personally Elijah, Kellen, and I all kind of been shaky. However, besides that Elijah, Kellen, and I have been collecting our film angles. With high angles and low shots etc. The shot that i recorded one day after school was with the phones point of view. It was in a medium long shot with the characters walking in. This emphasized the size different in the phone and people and objects around it. The shot was taken after school. The characters were walking towards the phone. This made them look bigger the close they came. The scene then cuts off when one of the characters foots come close to the camera. This would make the audience believe that the phone is about to be crushed then the screen will go black. Then the next scene will come on. To emphasize the dramatics Elijah and i will have music come on. The music will be like the ones in dinosaur movies to emphasize the stomp. Then comes the dramatic cut.

 My first day back was long. I was already in enough pain as it is sitting down but now I have to move class to class. The thin that probably bothers me the most are the people. Everyone jokes about it.  I already started having negative thoughts. The following day someone took my crutches and ran, I eventually got them back. All my teachers were more or less understanding. this allows me to attack my work pile at a reasonable pace. So it relieves stress, However this doesn't mean I'm not though. I fear I wont be able to catch up and let everyone down. I've been trying my best to record clips of people doing the motion. I ended up with about 33 different clips. Then sadly we came to an agreement that we should change the format that the video should be in. So the that means the 33 clips are useless at this point. So the decision that was made was that all of apple products were included. instead of  just being an iPhone and people saying hello. This is a much better choic...

AICE Media Studies-How things are going

  I’m back again with some fulfilling news. With spring break around the corner we have a lot to get done. However we have plenty of time to get the work done. Since my surgery on my knee I have made a lot of progress with walking in doing other things that will help with my mobility in the film. Hopefully by the time Zane Kevin Jackson and I are ready to film I could be used to my fullest potential so we don’t have any problems when filming. Jackson has been busy with baseball because baseball season is in full swing now so he doesn’t have a lot of time to work or communicate with the rest of the group. However we figured out a way to communicate in between practices and games so there won’t be any issues when it comes time to film. Zane has also had a very busy schedule with football practice and homework from other classes. Kevin has been loaded with math work to the point where his bag is overflowing with papers.   After a very long and hard process. Sweat and confused feelings we finally finished. This being my first project with this group I enjoyed it a lot. My group was very helpful and understanding with my injury. They are as well as smart, hardworking, and pretty funny individuals.
