AICE Media Studies

T this time i will be working with a good friend of mine Zane Royer and a friend of his Jackson Hirsch for this project. I chose Zane for the simple fact that we have good chemistry. being that we are teammates and all. As for Jackson he is a good friend of Zanes. Zane is very good at editing and filming media content. This includes skills that will assist him with creating the best possible music video for this project. These skills include very good editing skills with past knowledge of filming in the film industry. Zane also owns equipment that will allow the quality of my groups video to be very good. Jackson and i bring our directing skills and smarts to the table when it comes to media. Jackson and I are also very creative and can come up with good ideas for scenes.   I'm back again with sadness but excitement in my heart. Sadly, my previous group dissembled and departed ways. Kellen is now in another state and Elijah is on his own path.  In my commercial I used the conventions that apple uses in the commercials that they create. For example apple show scenarios of people using their products. This is almost identical to what my commercial was doing. My commercial also showed the apple products in actions. The actions were recorded in different settings.     My commercial was written to give the targeted audience a relatable moment. This gives a reason for the product to be bought. There were plenty of shots looking down on the person using the product in action. Literally showing when the targeted audience could relate. For me this was the easiest part. The hardest part for me during this time was the editing part.  During the editing process I was in the dark. I was unable to meet up with my groupmate.  Back again with some news. During the editing process I was in the dark. I was unable to meet up with Elijah. However, I was informed that Elijah was able to get some help from his sister. His sister Rashell who was a very kindhearted person when she wanted to be. She is actually a great friend of mine. However I was unable to get in contact with her so she can walk me through everything she did to help Elijah. However, from what I could tell there were a lot of shots of people getting ready to do something. whether it be workout, do homework, or just chill. This emphasized the idea that apple is always there is in someone's regular daily life. all I was able to figure out was that Rashel used an app called CapCut. This is a pretty big editing app in this generation. The app allowed her to do everything to help make the whole video. That's from the music over the video and the sounds from the original clips.  My first day back was long. I was already in enough pain as it is sitting down but now I have to move class to class. The thin that probably bothers me the most are the people. Everyone jokes about it.  I already started having negative thoughts. The following day someone took my crutches and ran, I eventually got them back. All my teachers were more or less understanding. this allows me to attack my work pile at a reasonable pace. So it relieves stress, However this doesn't mean I'm not though. I fear I wont be able to catch up and let everyone down. I've been trying my best to record clips of people doing the motion. I ended up with about 33 different clips. Then sadly we came to an agreement that we should change the format that the video should be in. So the that means the 33 clips are useless at this point.  Sadly, Kellen is gone. Heartbroken we lost our best editor and skater of the group. However, the show must go on. I'm still in a lot of pain and its messing with how I think. I officially call myself a crippled to those who ask. I feel useless I cant move out of the bed with out assistance. I also have to pee in a cup. That being one of the most traumatic things that I think ill ever go through, my group still needs me. Kellen still try's to help us out but now a lot of weight is on Elijah which I hate to leave on him. I try my hardest to give him everything he needs. there's nothing I'm not willing to do to help out. The medication makes it difficult to stay awake. However, it is extremely helpful with pain. ill be returning to school in a couple of days. Then things will really be difficult for me personally. When I return, I know I'm going to be stacked with work. So I have to find someway to manage. I'm not sure if depression is a side effect of the medicin...
